The Little Guy

We've been posting alot about Abby lately, but don't worry... We haven't forgot about our little guy.

He's growing so tall and has quite the personality. He walks around squeaking when he's happy and likes to make funny faces when he knows we are looking and nobody else.

Lately he's been posing for the camera whenever the flash is on and I've been able to capture some cute photos...

That's it for now.

Pierced Ears!

Abby now has pierced ears!

She did pretty good, huh?

Aunt Monica, Uncle Sean, Courtney, Austin, Megan, Morgan and Ryan
treated Abby to pierced ears as a birthday present.

Luckily, Aunt Loretta was in town to witness the fun and to continue the fun for the entire day...

Abby added her own accessories before our trip to Target...
here she is with her green sunglasses.

A make believe Tea Party at Target!

Here is Abby with her NEW pink sunglasses she convinced Aunt Loretta to buy for her...

Abby was so happy it started to rain...

And then we were blessed to see a beautiful rainbow!!!

Have a Happy Friday!

Abby's Dance and Gymnastics Recitals

This was our first year of dance AND gymnastics lessons each week.
Both Mom and Abby loved it.
The boys didn't seem to mind.

Abby did a great job and we are so proud of her achievements.
When we see her performances we know how much effort she put in each week at class and at home practicing.  Sometimes its really hard to get up from a nap and go to class with a positive attitude.  Or to go to bed early so you can be ready to go in the morning.

But, she did it and we are pleased with the results!!

There's our tiny dancer... right in the middle.

Abby's Gymnastics Recital is a Mock Gymnastics Meet.
She wasn't judged, but I think she would have scored perfect 10's!

Abby's First T-Ball Practice

Abby is starting T-Ball this summer.

She brought experience to back her up...

George was excited to find a play ground to use to pass the time.

Isaac and Hannah felt at home...

Abby didn't do much for her first practice, but she made it to first base!!!

She's growing up too fast!

May 2012

We've had a busy few weeks.

Tommy setup at the Motor City Comic Convention. He does it every year and LOVES it each year a little more than the previous.

The kids and I attended Aunt Judy's tea at church. This year the theme was 'First Ladies'.

I had a birthday on the same day as a field trip to Potter Park Zoo in Lansing.

Grandma and Grandpa Ascencio stopped by for a visit.

And we ended the long weekend by attending the Milford Memorial Day parade and enjoying a BBQ at the Bonish's afterwards.

We've got a VERY tired 4 year old and a very tan 2 year old (ha!).

God Bless America and all the veterans who have made our lives a blessing each day.

Mothers Day Tea at Preschool 2012

Abby's preschool class hosted a tea for all their Mothers.

They had tea, cookies and entertainment...

The Cleaning Song
(Mom's favorite)

Five Little Monkeys...
(Abby's Favorite)

Alligator Song

I loved every minute of it.
I think Abby did, too.

Love to all Mom's everywhere,

Abby turns 4

We just celebrated Abby's 4th Birthday.

It's been 4 years since I've held my sweet baby girl in my arms for the first time.

4 years since I've experienced the feeling of looking at a part of yourself that isn't attached to your own body.

4 years since I've witnessed my husband transform into a father who falls in love with his kids again and again with each new day.

4 years since Tommy and I started our family.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We celebrated the big day with her first official Birthday Party!
Abby is very social and always makes a friend wherever we go.  We knew she would love to spend the day with friends, so we scheduled it and sent out the invites to her Preschool pals, brother and cousins.

She loves PRINCESSES and purple and pink, so we went with the Tangled (Rapunzel) theme.
Mom made her a tutu to match her favorite t-shirt.
Grandma and Grandpa Cernech were visiting and we took advantage of extra hands and assigned them the cake, which was the talk of the party!

Here are few (okay, many) snapshots from the party...

Abby loved when everyone sang happy birthday to her... just look at her face!

After we arrived home everyone was a little worn out...

Except Abby... she helped Daddy put together her new bike!
Abby is a sweet little girl.

She clears her plate from the table.  She tries very hard to remember her manners throughout the day.  She has her dance memorized for her upcoming recital and loves to practice her gymnastics to get better and better.  She is learning all her letters/numbers in school and always has a new song to sing.  She loves her dadda-boo more with each day and wants to marry him.  She loves to take care of her brother and promptly reports to mom and dad when he is doing something wrong.

She is looking forward to riding a school bus in a couple of years.  She wants to grow up and work at McDonalds because she really wants to make french fries and hamburgers.  She is excited about the idea of a sleepover with her cousin Emily sometime and getting her ears pierced.

Mom and Dad are looking forward to it ALL!

Love you Goose, all the way to the moon and back!
