Abby turns 4

We just celebrated Abby's 4th Birthday.

It's been 4 years since I've held my sweet baby girl in my arms for the first time.

4 years since I've experienced the feeling of looking at a part of yourself that isn't attached to your own body.

4 years since I've witnessed my husband transform into a father who falls in love with his kids again and again with each new day.

4 years since Tommy and I started our family.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We celebrated the big day with her first official Birthday Party!
Abby is very social and always makes a friend wherever we go.  We knew she would love to spend the day with friends, so we scheduled it and sent out the invites to her Preschool pals, brother and cousins.

She loves PRINCESSES and purple and pink, so we went with the Tangled (Rapunzel) theme.
Mom made her a tutu to match her favorite t-shirt.
Grandma and Grandpa Cernech were visiting and we took advantage of extra hands and assigned them the cake, which was the talk of the party!

Here are few (okay, many) snapshots from the party...

Abby loved when everyone sang happy birthday to her... just look at her face!

After we arrived home everyone was a little worn out...

Except Abby... she helped Daddy put together her new bike!
Abby is a sweet little girl.

She clears her plate from the table.  She tries very hard to remember her manners throughout the day.  She has her dance memorized for her upcoming recital and loves to practice her gymnastics to get better and better.  She is learning all her letters/numbers in school and always has a new song to sing.  She loves her dadda-boo more with each day and wants to marry him.  She loves to take care of her brother and promptly reports to mom and dad when he is doing something wrong.

She is looking forward to riding a school bus in a couple of years.  She wants to grow up and work at McDonalds because she really wants to make french fries and hamburgers.  She is excited about the idea of a sleepover with her cousin Emily sometime and getting her ears pierced.

Mom and Dad are looking forward to it ALL!

Love you Goose, all the way to the moon and back!
